In terms of building a lineup for AB, the British tree suffers from a fighter gap between BR 2.7 and 3.7 where they have no regular fighters at 3.0 or 3.3 (no, I don't count the Beaufighter) to take advantage of the AB averaging system. As such, you're best off trying to build a lineup either 2.7 or below, or 3.7 or above. The Do-335 is the fastest WW2 prop aircraft, the British postwar prop aircraft that go faster are not in game. There's no "best" nation, each nation has their strengths and weaknesses, except for one that's just bad that we don't talk about. Here's my list. Britain: Known for their Spitfires and good turning planes, pretty good guns and maneuverability. Though a early or mid war Spitfire won't outrun a Bf 109, it will out turn one. Securing Strategic Points. 4. Sweden. If you want to be the defender of your team, go for Sweden. This nation class is the best if you're strategic and want to take your time with things. They are not very mobile but very hard-hitting and big on the hp factor. They have a smaller tech tree but it also is very unique. For a new player picking one of Germany/UK/USA/USSR is probably the best choice. USA is probably the strongest overall along with USSR. US has pretty solid ground at almost all ranks and the best planes overall although their ww2 planes are hard to play. USSR is the only country capable of being able to rely on their armor at nearly all ranks. This will be closer to the minimum speed turn, but not necessarily being exactly that low. d_Inside. Biplanes, then A6Ms, then Yaks and Spitfires, Italians C.202/205 are not bad also. Americans P51s are also notable, one of the most nimble but only at high speed (>600kph). r/Warthunder.
